Hand brushed digital painting of Yellow bend in the River, oil/expressionist. A special spot on the Montana Bitterroot river in the fall. That could be the end of the description...or.. The river symbolizes life, and our journey through the banks of experience/time...where we all end up in the ocean of spirit. The radiant trees represent our family and friends..the memories, the experiences, the souls. The bends in the river represent the different paths we take in life, the zigs and the zags of our choices. The seasons represent our phases of life...fall our later years before winter...where we can see the beauty of our journey in reflection, as in the reflections in the water. When I see this bend in the river I see the obvious beauty..but I also see a beautiful journey for which I'm thankful.
