I liked the composition, compound curving shapes, color and lighting on this succulent gem, especially the silver sheen. I grew up appreciating the photorgraphy of the Westons and the paintings of Georgia O'Keefe and I'm always looking for a subject that reminds me of something they might of captured. Those opportunities are rare, but I found this beauty at Longwood Gardens in Pa. home to countless exotic plants and flowers from all over the world.
