Description
Horses of a Different Color is a stunning Painting by Joseph J Stevens that blends Cubist and Futurist painting styles. The image depicts two horses challenging each other, each horse a different color. The blended original style result is a dynamic and visually arresting, thought provoking image that captures the essence of both Cubism and Futurism.
This image would make a wonderful addition to any home or office. It is sure to spark conversation and appreciation for art. Whether you are looking for a unique piece of art to add to your collection or a gift for a modern horse loving friend or loved one, Horses of a Different Color is a perfect choice.
(c) Joseph J Stevens all rights reserved. Acrylic painting on heavy archival canvas gallery wrap. The style is cubism, with aspects of futurism, visionary and graphic with bold colors. I wanted to create horses in a classic cubism style with contemporary colors. I utilized futurism in the graphical nature of the sky and land. There are many layers and intensities that should capture ones attention over time as new things, forms, connections constantly reveal themselves. Cubism reveals dynamic underlying energies and different changing perspectives. Thank you for viewing.
