Description
Recollections, or maybe it was a dream of a surreal night in Brussels Belgium on Delerium Row...in the Absinthe Bar. Absinthe originated in the canton of Neuchtel in Switzerland in the late 18th century. It rose to great popularity as an alcoholic drink in late 19th- and early 20th-century France, particularly among Parisian artists and writers. The Absinthe bar has hundreds of Absinthe's, most of which are not exported. If you leave the sampling up the to bartender..u will have an interesting evening.
This work is Mixed or composite media of original drawings, paintings and photographs.
Delerium row is world famous for it's Delerium Cafe which has the most diverse beer menu in the world (Guiness world record), sporting over 1200 different beers. Along this historic row are different specialty bars for Scotch, Absinthe, Tequilla etc. and historic statues.

"Delirium Row"....remembers me to "B. Dylan´s "Desolation Row". A story with presences, more than subjects or objects...presences of a twisted mind, loning for an evaneccent woman, and longing for a drunken animal soul. The winds of intouchable thoughts phsing the sweetness away. At first....it is sweet to be drunk...then it becomes sour and finally it is nightmarish. Love this work, Joseph. It encites my inspiration. But not pictorically...may be more fleshy than that. Rosa
