Product Details

Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption.   The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton.   Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").

Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

Artist's Description

A scratch board pen and ink with digital finish. I love pen and ink, and scratch board for precise work and fine details. Look at a close up preview and you'll see how minute the details are in the Jazz player. I love music, Jazz included. I had a Jazz Festival Poster in mind when I created this piano player/players. It's a fantasy, visionary style with futuristic graphic elements. Once again a study in layers...in the "cutouts" you'll see a layer below the main dimensional layer. This reflects the many layers of music in a great jazz piece. As an architect starting before the time of computers I developed over decades a very precise technique of drawing extremely fine details reminiscent of ancient illustrative engraving. This is sort of a homage to Escher, Keith Jarret and George Winston.

About Joseph J Stevens

Joseph J Stevens

I enjoy creating....I grew up on the coast in one of those scenic seaside art colonies. I've always enjoyed drawing and creating. I retired as a published architect, but my passion for art has never wavered. I now spend my days creating paintings, sculptures, drawings, photographs and other works of art. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating it. I love to use my architectural background and study of natural patterns to create finely detailed works. My art is inspired by the beauty of the natural world. I love to capture the light and shadows of the ocean, the lushness of the forest, and the grandeur of the mountains. I also enjoy exploring the human condition through my art. I believe that art can be a powerful tool for...
