A high res photo of the most amazing Hanalei Beach and pier in Kauai, Hawaii near Princeville.. This beach is my favorite beach in the world. I could sit right there forever. They were filming the Descendant's just down the beach this day with George Clooney. I can see why they wanted to film here...who wouldn't. Since this photo was shot they have remodeled the historic structure at the end of the pier. I've been there many times but this day the light and clouds were really special. It's the kind of special you want to capture and live again by viewing and remembering. When I look at this I can remember the feel of the warm breeze, my feet in the fine white sand..the perfect temperature, the fragrant air, the soft surf sounds. My friends and family were next to me, speechless..just looking, soaking it all in. This is the perfect place to end a day.
